Description
Great for cleaning up leftover fish food, algae, and other fresh water aquarium waste.
As pictured. Some are goldenback but not all, some are plain yellow.
We generally send smaller ones (5-15mm in length) as these adapt to new tanks better than older/larger ones. They should grow to full size within a few weeks.
They will readily breed in fresh water, they will happily thrive alongside small-mouthed fish like guppies and harlequins.
Sent 24hr tracked, surrounded by plenty of insulating packaging, and in special breathable bags, to ensure safe arrival.
To date we've had zero fatalities when Royal Mail deliver next day (which is about 90% of the time when we put an 'Urgent Live Creatures' label on the parcel), but we always include 3-5 extra shrimp just in case, because once when Royal Mail took an additional day to deliver 100 shrimp, the customer reported that there were 2 fatalities.
These are UK bred (in my sons fish tank!).

PLEASE NOTE: while I post using a next day service, it is usually a few days before I am ready to post them to you. Despatch is often on a Wednesday for delivery Thursday, but it can vary.
