Description
Two egg clutches laid by my Mystery snails , which are a mixture of magenta , ivory and brown . The hatchlings can be any of these colours .The egg clutches will have been laid about three days before sending , allowing them to harden up . They should be expected to hatch in about 10-14 days . Please make sure that you have done your research regarding incubating these as success depends on good technique , and there are no returns or refunds on them ..
The way I do it is to put the egg clutches in a takeaway container , on a double layer of "J-cloth" soaked in tank water and then simply float the container , with lid fitted , in a tank heated to 24C . Keep the cloth soaked in water so that there is always a very damp atmosphere in the container . There should be no standing water inside . The clutches will look increasingly broken down , even rotten , until eventually hatching over the course of a couple of days .
Sent Monday - Thursday , the day after you order , ie Monday order sent Tuesday , Thursday order sent the next Monday . Please put your eggs in whatever kind of incubator you choose promptly .
