Description
Ramshorn snails are very undemanding freshwater snails which will not eat live plants .They are great for scooping up leftover food in your aquarium .
They prefer a temperature range of around 17 - 25 C ( not suitable for outside ponds) . These are not tiny babies , as sent by some , but will be juveniles/young adults approximately in the .6 - 1cm range .
Sent Monday to Thursday so that they will not get stuck in the post over the weekend - if you order after 11am on a Thursday , they will be sent the next Monday . They will be sent with a little water and some guppy grass . If you wish to grow the guppy grass ( an easy aquarium plant ) , just let it float in your tank until it decides to root itself ..
They will eat almost all aquarium foods , but particularly like cooked/canned green fine beans . Calcium supplements will help to maintain shiny shells .
A few extra will always be sent to cover any potential losses .
