Tiger Caridina are middle-ground in their requirements — around pH 6.5–7.2, GH 4–8, KH 0–3, TDS 120–200. More forgiving than Taiwan Bee, less so than Neocaridina.

They will cross with other Tiger and bee-type Caridina, so house them separately to keep the line clean.
