MiniShrimpFarm is a small home-based shrimp hobby store run with care and passion. We breed healthy freshwater shrimp at home and aim to offer friendly service, fair prices, and good-quality shrimp for other aquarium hobbyists. From time to time, we may also offer selected aquarium plants and sometimes snails, depending on availability. Whether you are starting your first shrimp tank or adding to your collection, we are happy to help.
We do our best to provide healthy shrimp, safe packaging, and friendly service.
Our store has DOA Protection / Live Arrival Protection enabled through UK Shrimp. This means eligible livestock orders are protected if shrimp or snails arrive dead on arrival.
To qualify for DOA protection, buyers must:
- Be available to accept the parcel on the first delivery attempt
- Contact us through UK Shrimp within 2 hours of delivery
- Provide clear timestamped photos of the DOA livestock inside the original unopened bag
- Make sure the delivery address and contact details are correct when ordering
DOA protection may not apply if the parcel is missed, left outside in unsafe hot or cold conditions, the bag has been opened, the address is incorrect, or the livestock dies after arrival due to tank conditions or acclimation issues.
Please make sure your aquarium is fully cycled and suitable for shrimp before ordering. We are always happy to help if you have any questions before or after purchase.
