We don’t claim “high-grade” color patterns—since these can often prove disappointing and unrealistic—rest assured however that none of our shrimp are culls. (Culls are sold separately.) Buy Black Rose Shrimp in the UK
Black Rose shrimp — also sold as Chocolate shrimp — are a deep brown-to-black Neocaridina strain that looks superb over pale sand and against bright green plants.
Standard Neocaridina care: pH 6.8–7.8, GH 6–12, TDS 150–300, and comfortable in unheated room-temperature tanks. Hardy, prolific and suitable for beginners.
Higher grades show solid, even black with no translucent patches — sellers describe grading in each listing.
