We don’t claim “high-grade” color patterns—since these can often prove disappointing and unrealistic—rest assured however that none of our shrimp are culls. (Culls are sold separately.) Buy Blue Rili Shrimp in the UK
Blue Rili shrimp combine deep blue on the head and tail with a clear or translucent midsection — the rili pattern — so the colour appears in two distinct blocks rather than across the whole body.
Derived from Blue Velvet and carbon rili lines, they are standard hardy Neocaridina in every practical sense: pH 6.8–7.8, GH 6–12, TDS 150–300, no heater needed.
Expect variation in the offspring. Rili patterning never breeds perfectly true, and a healthy colony will produce a mix of patterned and solid shrimp.
