We don’t claim “high-grade” color patterns—since these can often prove disappointing and unrealistic—rest assured however that none of our shrimp are culls. (Culls are sold separately.) Blue Diamond shrimp are the darkest and most opaque of the blue Neocaridina strains — a solid, glossy royal blue with little of the translucency seen in Blue Velvet or Blue Pearl.
High-grade Blue Diamond hold their colour from juvenile through to adult, which is the main thing that separates them from cheaper blue lines. Grading varies between breeders, so read listings carefully.
Hardy Neocaridina care throughout: pH 6.8–7.8, GH 6–12, TDS 150–300, no heater required.
