10x UK Bred Snow White Caridina Shrimp (aka Pure White Line - PWL)

100% UK bred Snow White Shrimp  - Caridina cantonensis

Snow White caridina are a strikingly attractive shrimp, particularly against green vegetation or dark backgrounds.  They can be kept in typical caridina conditions and don't necessarily require active soil depending on your water supply.  Well-oxygenated soft water is fine with a stable temperature of 20-23°C.  The breeding tank for these shrimp contains no active substrate but it does contain mopani wood which leaches tannins and lowers pH.  Inert sand with oak leaves are also provided. The breeding tank water parameters are GH 5, KH 1, pH 6.3. 

Shrimp are always sent by post. Collection is not available.

Shrimp sent may vary in size depending on what is available.  If it is possible, juveniles will be sent (unsexed), approximately 1cm to 2cm in length.  Sometimes a mix of adults and juveniles will be sent.  If you have a particular preference, please contact me before ordering.

Shipping

Shipping live animals is a difficult process and we will do everything we can to make sure it is successful.  Shrimps are sent packed in aquatic bags within protective polystyrene insulating boxes.

All live shrimp orders will be sent by Royal Mail 'Special Delivery by 1pm'.

After an order is placed I will contact you with an expected delivery date. Usually shrimp are dispatched the day after an order is placed, to be delivered the day after that.  But this may vary depending on circumstances.  If you wish to receive the shrimp on a particular day, please contact me before or shortly after placing an order.

Someone must be in on the expected delivery date to sign for the package.  If there is no one to sign for the package then Royal Mail will not deliver it and the delay in delivery may cause shrimp deaths. No refunds will be given if no one was available to receive the package on the expected delivery date. 

We only ship to the UK and unfortunately we cannot ship to Northern Ireland due to the additional certification required.

Any dead shrimp on arrival / Refunds

Despite all efforts, occasionally a shrimp may die during transit. You must send a photo of any dead shrimp on the day of delivery or no refund will be given.  The photo must show the dead shrimp still in the unopened transit bag.  We cannot be responsible for any deaths of shrimp once they have been put into your aquarium.

Any shrimp that are confirmed dead on delivery will be refunded pro-rata.  That is, if one shrimp arrives dead then a refund of 1/10th of the purchase price will be given.

We do not accept returns of any shrimp.
